Morris Brown College mentorship program

This year’s program finished at the end of May 2026.  45 Mentors and 45 Mentees participated this year which was the largest group ever.

The mentorship program connects ABSA MBA alumni with a select group of full-time students from the college.  15 of the 20 ABSA clubs are participating in this 2025/2026 program.

See the press release from the first program in 2021.

Mentor assistance includes:

  • General business guidance such as insights into various industries and functional areas.
  • Skills such as resume creation, LinkedIn, social media reputation management, networking, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Job & industry understanding of possible career options, including non-linear career paths which nearly all Mentors have experienced.
  • Counsel around work ethic, preparation, punctuality, timeliness, responsiveness, follow-up, and a growth vs. fixed mindset.
